A Creative Space for Creative People

We are lucky enough to have a big space with multiple rooms being available for artists or other creatives.

Architects, concept designers, fantasy illustrators, fine artists, and many more work here on a daily basis, creating an environment of ideas and growth. If you are interested in renting a spot, contact us for more info and to join the waiting list.

We are always happy to meet other creatives and see if there is any opportunity to share our space together!

 
 

Our vision

is to share our space at Funkhaus with like-minded, dedicated artists and creatives. We want to create an environment where creative projects can flourish and where we can learn from each other's skills and mindsets. Creating, collaborating, sharing inspiration, and growing as individuals but also as an institution for and from artists. Therefore we are interested in creatives staying with us long term, building a community, and forming Drink and Draw with us.


General info

  • We have a total of 4 rooms to sub rent. As of right now, three desks are available in two different rooms

  • Each room has the capacity to hold 2 - 4 artists. 

  • Both working on a desk on your computer or working with traditional media on an easel is possible. 

  •  Renting a desk/ space in the room is 300€  per month (incl. 19% VAT )

  • The minimum rent time is 3 months. The contract cancellation period is 3 months.

You are free and welcome to find a deskmate/ roommate to share the rent with/sub rent the room yourself if you are away for a month etc. We do however want to meet the person beforehand since we want this to be a close-knit, communal space :)


What you get

  • Access to all regular drink and draw sessions (in case you get a deskmate you get 8 free entries a month, which you can split amongst yourselves)

  • Discounts for our special workshops

  • Heating and electricity is included

  • Internet access

  • Access to a key, so you can work whenever you want to

  • Security service patrolling Funkhaus at night 

  • Our insurance covers theft (we can also provide more info if needed)

  • A desk, chair and desk lamp to work at

  • Cleaning of the floors and kitchen/ bathrooms

  • Access to our kitchen area

  • Drinks: Tea, coffee and tap water is free!
