Turn your favourite photo of your pet into a one-of-a-kind painting - no prior painting or drawing experience needed!
Whether you want to gift it to a loved one afterwards or have it as a statement piece for your home, you'll leave with a portrait that's uniquely yours. We hope that every time you see it, it'll remind you of a fun, creative evening spent in our studio.
After booking, simply email your favourite pet photo to info@drinkanddrawberlin.com with the subject line "Paint Your Pet" and include your workshop date. Please make sure the photo orientation (portrait or landscape) matches how you would like your painting to be displayed, as we will prepare your canvas accordingly. We would also love to know your pet's name, just include it in the email!
Before the workshop, our professional instructor will hand-sketch your pet onto your canvas, so when you arrive, you can dive straight into painting with acrylics.
Throughout the workshop, our instructor will guide you step by step, showing you simple techniques for painting eyes, noses, fur, feathers, and more. You will also learn the basics of color mixing.
Our beautiful studio in the historic Funkhaus provides the perfect setting for a creative evening. With its unique industrial charm, cozy lounge areas, inspiring art books, summer garden terrace, and welcoming bar, it's a place you are welcome to linger in before or after the workshop. Whether you come on your own or with friends, our studio shines with a warm, inclusive, and relaxed atmosphere.

You're very welcome to join even if you already have painting experience.
The workshop is held in English and/or German, depending on the group's needs.
You'll take your painting home with you right after the workshop. We provide small carrying bags, but your canvas also fits nicely into a standard tote bag.
Your pet will be pre-sketched, but the background will be left blank since your pet is the star of the show! You are welcome to paint a background during the workshop if you would like.
