Playful Portrait Drawing VOlume 2
Mastering Drawing Through Play
A workshop by Valentin ScheinerArt is a playground where we can materialize the improbable, the unthinkable, the impossible and dive into worlds of our own creation.
Yet we so often get stuck in our approach, limit our own possibilities and our drawings become stale, lifeless and boring.
This workshop is about ways in which we can break free from those boundaries again and get into a state of free, child-like wonder and play.
Valentin is going to show you his approach how to keep the portrait drawing practice fresh and inspiring while learning the hard skills such as anatomy, proportions and shading at the same time.
The workshop is aimed at beginners and experienced artists alike.
The former will learn a playful way to master drawing, the latter will be given tools and techniques to break up their routine.
This updated workshop builds on an earlier version that was offered at ‘Drink And Draw Berlin’ and features a new structure that incorporates insights gained from running other workshops. It is not necessary to have attended the prior, but you will still pick up revised techniques and untapped knowledge if you have.
